The annual AGA Virtual Tech Summit will be held April 29 – 30, 2021. Now in its twelfth year, the signature event of the AGA Center for GI Innovation and Technology is the only meeting that focuses on the development and adoption of GI technologies. It brings together innovators, entrepreneurs, clinicians, medical technology and device companies, venture capitalists, and regulatory agencies.
The 2021 program will highlight women in innovation, the latest efforts to tackle challenges in ergonomics, advances in infection control as they relate to endoscopy, and applications of artificial intelligence in gastroenterology. The meeting will conclude with a presentation from Bakul Patel, MSEE, MBA, the director of the Food and Drug Administration’s Digital Health Center of Excellence, who will share the scope, goals, and current priorities of the new center.
This year’s Tech Summit will also feature several ancillary activities including the Innovator Consultations, which are tailored to startups and physician innovators with new ideas and technologies seeking advice from experts in the GI space. The “Shark Tank” competition will showcase five finalists who will pitch their concepts to a panel of judges. Additional innovators will be featured through the Innovation Poster Showcase. Finally, the meeting will once again host the Innovation Fellows Program, a unique opportunity for GI fellows to learn about the innovation and entrepreneurship from thought leaders in the field.
Registration is now open with discounted rates available through April 19, 2021. If you have any questions, please contact email@example.com.
