Gut Check Campaign
This campaign, supported by McNeil Consumer Healthcare, uses gamification and social media to educate patients about how to avoid overdose of acetaminophen and NSAIDs, which can lead to gastrointestinal bleeding or liver damage
IBS in America Campaign
With the support of Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Allergan plc, AGA fielded the most comprehensive survey of IBS patients and physicians ever conducted. Findings provided the base for a successful public education campaign.
AGA shined a light on the under diagnosis of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, thanks to a survey and public education effort supported by Abbvie.
Our growing library of educational content to support practitioners includes downloadable patient-friendly guides on GI diseases in English and Spanish.
Many of AGA’s gold-standard care guidelines for physicians include complementary summaries for written for patients.
AGA released a video on social media about how to “Beat the Burn” during the holiday season.
